Projects - Emacs Config Files

All of the files that I use to configure and initialize Emacs are listed here for your downloading pleasure. As much as possible, I have tried to modularize things. For example, I use the initsplit package from johnw's website.

To get at the raw source of these programs (instead of the nicely colored HTML-ized source), just remove the `.html' part from the name of the link you are interested in.

• init.el: Main Emacs settings file.
• primer.el: Use this file for ~/.emacs.el (or ~/.emacs, but not both) if you are starting out on Emacs and want some halfway-decent defaults.
• debian-init.el: This provides my custom setup for Debian. I don't like the way that they handle load-path, so I do things my own way.
• dot_Xresources: This is used to set the appearance of Emacs when it is running under the X Window System.
• gnus-init.el: Used only to define a few prerequisites for using Gnus; most settings are in `dot_gnus.el'
• dot_gnus.el: Gnus settings.
• muse-init.el: Emacs Muse settings.
• emms-init.el: Emacs Wiki: EMMS settings.
• erc-init.el: Emacs Wiki: ERC settings.
• planner-init.el: Planner Mode settings.
• ... or just browse emacs-config/.
